Throw Back on the High Five Festival 2018 !

For this 8th edition of the High Five Festival (International Ski Festival), under the theme "Buddies First", the Impérial Palace has been transformed into the High Five Palace from 5th to 7th October, 2018.

Its teaser, inspired by « F.R.I.E.N.D.S » (the famous series of the 90s), set the tone: for the time of weekend, the High Five Palace has become the famous "Central Perk" of many enthusiasts and curious onlookers!

Back to the XXL programme:

· High Five Comedy Up: 3 Stand-Up shows took place in the Salle de l'Europe. The first one to burn the boards on Friday night was Maxime Gasteuil with his new show "Maxime Gasteuil comes to town". On Saturday, Dédo appropriated the stage with "Killing Joke" while Kheiron closed this enjoyable rendez-vous with his show "60 minutes with Kheiron".

· High Five University: The High Five Festival knows now to be serious sometimes! This has happened during the Masterclasses: 2 hours of instructions and sharing, led by a very exclusive selection of professionals. From the schedule, you could try photography with Pierre Morel (photo-journalist), discover the life of influencers thanks to Bruno Maltor or learn safety techniques in the mountains with Tony Lamiche and Romain Raisson (Salomon athletes). You could also create your own t-shirt during the intervention of Beranger Brochier (Designer Picture). In total, more than a dozen workshops led by outstanding speakers.

· Zipline: The first one at the Imperial Palace. The most adventurous could jump from the terrace of the 3^rd floor towards the Gardens of Europe! An unusual activity that seduced young and olds with its breathtaking view over the Big Air Bag and the beautiful Lake Annecy!

· Oakley Big Air Bag: A new element as well: a 100% inflatable springboard without snow!!! That was the crazy bet of this 9^th edition and you know what? It was hard! Under a bright sun, we met dozens and dozens of people, helmets on their heads and skis on their backs, hurtling down this ramp open to everyone! To departure just in front of the windows of the 4^th floor of the hotel, under the coaching orchestrated by Team Oakley, this was the kind of extraordinary thing that happens only once in a lifetime!

· Protest: Remember the Swiss freestyle skier who made the buzz filming his workout? Yes, it is Andri Ragettli and on this occasion, he organized his "Challenge Course" in the Imperial Tent. So did you manage to beat him?

· Moreover: unusual game tables for wild parties (table football for 6, holed table tennis...), giant raclette by Entremont, Protest showroom, yoga session in the gardens of Europe ...

But what would be the pre-opening of the winter season without a real After-Ski? This is why the PVG Group and La Clusaz ski resort have teamed up to organize the 1^stAfter-Ski of the season on Friday, 5^thOctober; an evening under the sign of conviviality and sharing with the champions!

On Saturday, Playboy took over the High Five Palace for an unusual set of Frédéric Beigbeder (sponsor of festival) who inflamed the decks!

So, after these three days of madness ... We wanted to send a warm thank you to all the INSEEC volunteers of the High Five Palace. You've been the best, Bravo!
