The International Festival of Green Innovations
On the shore of Lake Annecy, the purest lake in Europe, the International Clean Tech Week invites you during four days to discover and educate as many people around eco-innovations. The show expects 15,000 visitors, 1,400 students, 150 exhibitors, 25 conferences and 30 countries will be represented. Open to all, professionals and committed actors will be able to gain ideas and create contacts, students and the general public, throughout fun workshops and exchanges with professionals, will be more aware.
The missions of the International Cleantech Week
Organized by the Association the Fifth Element, whose vocation is to recreate harmony between nature, man and technology, the festival's mission is:
- to discover and appreciate environmentally friendly technologies;
- to propose concrete solutions adapted to the general public and professionals in the areas of housing, mobility ...;
- to highlight the dynamic involvement of the Rhône-Alpes Region;
- to educate the youngest in the ecological transition;
- to contribute to the general reflection around green innovations.
To educate the younger generation about ecological transition
Aware that the future of our planet lies in the hands of future generations, the International CleanTech Week has the real ambition to educate the younger generation in current issues. Indeed, in collaboration with schools, students will have the chance to participate in the Festival through workshops, conferences and exchanges with exhibitors. At school, they will also have courses related to the festival in the following subjects: Biology, Physics-Chemistry and Technology. A lively and attractive way to educate tomorrow's citizens about sustainable development and ecological transition!
Exhibitors with innovative ambitions for the planet
With its 4,500 m² of covered spaces distributed in themed villages, the International Cleantech Week will host 150 exhibitors. Among them, we can mention:
- Ustinov Construction System: construction of buildings from plastic waste to solve housing problems around the world;
- Immersion 4: finding solutions to ecologically cool down data centers;
- Plastic Odyssey: the ship propelled by plastic waste;
