Mid-December, do not be surprised to see, grayed out in the calendars, the evening party at
Au Cœur du Village***** in La Clusaz.
It is a date that shows off several highlights of the beginning of the season in the ski resort of the Aravis mountains and more specifically for the hotel Au Coeur du Village, Relais & Châteaux.
Friendliness to share
On Thursday 12th December 2019, the traditional Opening party took place at the 5 star-hotel of the
Groupe PVG in
La Clusaz.
It is the place to be for tradespeople and other participants of the ski village who gather for a few hours around a cocktail reception, finely prepared by our Chefs
Vincent Deforce and
Cédric Heurtebise.
Each one enjoys this cordial moment to discuss and to share, before the rush of the season which will continue the following day for the hotel team with the arrival of the first clients.
The PVG Mag unveiled
This is the best time, in such a friendly, intimate and festive spirit, to unveil in a
preview the latest issue of the now-famous and awaited
Magazine PVG !
Strikes and bad weather did not affect the will to get it on that night and share it with some of the protagonists such as
Antoine Deneriaz, Edgar Grospiron, Simi Curt…
We accepted apologies from
Martin Fourcade and
Tessa Worley who could not be with us on that night :)
This is the fifth issue of the magazine with a mankind focus touch, which is discussed through each page.
As from 13th December, the magazine is available in all the hotels of the
Groupe PVG in La Clusaz and Annecy, but also in tourist offices of both destinations, in different shops such as
Galeries Lafayette,
Yvette Périllat,
Afflelou Annecy,
Paolo Boutique… and of course
on the internet or with a simple request to
communication@groupe-pvg.fr
New season, new artist
Each year, the bar and reception walls of the hotel Au Cœur du Village dress up with an artistic exhibition. This time, as from 12th December, it will be with the photographer Patrick Leclerc.
In september 2013, Patrick Leclerc strolls rue du Bac in Paris, and stops in front of the
Maison Deyrolle* shop window.
He is hypnotized by the glance of the
stuffed animals, divided between aversion and attraction. Finally, fascination for taxidermy takes over and he gets in touch with the
Museum of Natural History of Paris.
It is the beginning of a close relationship for which
Patrick Leclerc decides to extend the resurrection of these animals by giving them a third life thanks to the work of light and high definition.
*Built in 1831, Maison Deyrolle is an institution in Natural Sciences and pedagogics. Specialized in taxidermy and entomology, it is both a mecca for collectors, as well as a room of curiosities open to all, amateurs or not of Natural Sciences.
