The Bélier VTT, a proudly La Clusaz-born event, is back on 15 and 16 June 2024. Once again, Groupe PVG is a proud partner.

The Bélier: a historic event in La Clusaz
The Bélier Trail & Hike is a long-standing event in Haute-Savoie. It was founded by enthusiasts from La Clusaz with a passion for trail running and hiking, and now welcomes over 5,000 participants each year. Its aim? (Re)Discovering the Aravis in a warm and friendly atmosphere, whether at a steady pace or full sprint.
From trail running to mountain biking...
In 2013, La Clusaz hosted the Roc des Alpes, a 100% mountain biking event based on the same spirit as the Bélier Trail & Hike, but tailored to MTB enthusiasts.
In 2018, the Roc des Alpes evolved into the Alps Bike Festival.
Then in 2022, the La Clusaz Sports Club brought the event back with a name that better reflected its flagship event: the Bélier Trail. And so, the Bélier embraced mountain biking!
For this edition of the Bélier VTT, thrill-seekers and lovers of the great outdoors will meet in La Clusaz on 15 and 16 June 2024.
The Bélier VTT: an event for everyone!
- For the athletic and not-so-athletic:
While the more competitive take on the XC formats (17, 30 or 50 km), others will enjoy the stunning Aravis scenery with 18 or 30 km routes on classic bikes, or 30 or 37 km routes on e-MTBs. - For the cheese lovers:
Foodies can sample three iconic local cheeses during the 18 km “3-Cheese Hike”, which perfectly combines exercise and indulgence. - For the bold:
Enduro fans can take on the “Randuro”, made up of five lift-accessed climbs and three specially marked descents. - For the kids:
Young riders will enjoy the XC Kids course, designed especially for children. - For something unique:
At the end of the day, some will take on the infamous “Impossible Climb”: a 100m dash up a 25% gradient hill!
