Le Bélier VTT

This is the event made in La Clusaz. After the trail and the hike, the Bélier VTT is the latest addition to the Bélier family. We explain it to you.

LET'S START WITH A LITTLE PRESENTATION

The Bélier Trail & Rando is a historic event in Haute Savoie which will celebrate its 37th edition this summer. This concept was born from Cluses passionate about trail and hiking. It attracts more than 5,000 runners and hikers every year. Its concept is to (Re)discover the Aravis in a friendly and warm atmosphere with short or long strides.

FROM TRAIL TO MOUNTAIN BIKE...

In 2013, the Roc des Alpes, a 100% mountain bike event, was organised in La Clusaz. The idea is more or less the same as that of the Bélier Trail et Rando but aimed at mountain bikers.

In 2018, the Roc des Alpes became the Alps Bike Festival.

In 2022, the Club des Sports de La Clusaz took up this concept, with a more evocative name more in line with its flagship event, the Bélier Trail & Rando. This is how the Bélier got into mountain biking.

For this second edition of the Bélier VTT, thrill-seekers and lovers of wide open spaces will meet in La Clusaz on 10 and 11 June 2023..

AN EVENT FOR EVERYONE !

While the most competitive will try to beat the time on XC formats of 17, 30 or 50 km, others will take the time to admire the incredible landscapes of the Aravis over 18 or 30 km at the strength of their legs or during 30 or 37 km in electric mountain bike.

Gourmets can taste three emblematic cheeses of the region during the 18km "Rando 3 fromages". Accessible to all, it combines effort and comfort.

Endurists will try out "La Randuro". New for this year 2023, it consists of 5 climbs in ski lifts and 3 descents specially marked out for the event. An opportunity to test the enduro.

The little riders will have fun on the XC Kids, a course specially dedicated to children.

At the end of the day, some will try the "Impossible Climb": a 100m race on a 25% slope
