The long-awaited February event is back in La Clusaz this year!
The Carnival, an iconic celebration that takes over the streets of the village, promises an unforgettable evening for young and old, locals and holidaymakers alike. Now's the time to get out your costumes and join in the fun as the village comes alive.
Festive atmosphere in the village of La Clusaz
Starting at 6.30pm, the parade will take off from the Bossonnet and wind its way through the village streets to the Place de l'Église, offering a colourful and creative spectacle. Costumed and masked, the participants will set the mood, infusing every corner of the village with the energy of Carnival.
An explosion of colour in the sky
At around 8pm, as the parade draws to a close, the skies over La Clusaz will light up with a huge fireworks display. A breathtaking pyrotechnic spectacle that will bring the parade to a beautiful close and mark the start of an exceptional evening. The Place de l'Église will be decked out in a thousand colours and the carnival goers will be merry.
Get ready with "Le Bal Masqué" !
If you would like to take part in the festivities, "Le Bal Masqué" is offering the hire and sale of costumes and accessories. Come along to the Salon d'Honneur at the Tourist Office on the afternoon of Monday 12 February and Tuesday 13 February 2024.
The on-site teams will be on hand to help you put the finishing touches to your carnival look. Artistic make-up will be available to complete your transformation.

To take part in this unique celebration in the heart of the Aravis mountains, register from Sunday 11 February 2024 at the La Clusaz Tourist Office. Places are limited 😉
