So let's start by setting the scene. It used to be called the "spring of skiing", now it's the "spring of the mountains". Between March and April, it is pleasant to stay in La Clusaz. We explain why in five points.
LESS WAINTING AT THE SKI LIFTS
We're just stating the obvious when we say that the slopes are less crowded in spring ;). This allows you to ski with more peace of mind: there is more room on the slopes, less waiting at the lifts. It's also a great opportunity to ski in style!
THE IDEAL TIME FOR OPTIMAL SNOW SPORTS
From March onwards the temperatures are milder, the days are longer and the snow is pleasant... Of course, the powder is scarcer but the snow is far from being bad and the pleasure of skiing undeniably present! We advise you to go on the slopes in the morning until 2pm to have a good feeling of skiing.
Afterwards, after-ski is the order of the day: lunch in a high-altitude restaurant, hot chocolate or cocktails on the sunny terrace at the foot of the slopes... The slow life is here! It's also the ideal time to perfect your tan and make your colleagues jealous when you get back to the office ;)
THE OPPORTUNITY TO START A NEW PRACTICE AND TEST NEW ACTIVITIES
The snow cover is getting softer... It's less painful to fall on your buttocks in spring snow and therefore it's time to try out new activities: skiing for snowboarders, snowboarding for skiers, freestyle for the more daring or even non-skiing activities for those who are curious about new sensations: fat biking, airboarding, yooning... Here is a non-exhaustive list of possible activities.

Ah the spring sun! It's sunny and it's great to have a good mood... It allows us to ski lighter, in fleece and sleeveless jacket, for a better freedom of movement. This is the time of year when the sun warms our faces on the chairlift. We ski and fill up on vitamin D!
