Spring has arrived in La Clusaz! Events and activities continue to punctuate the heart of the resort.
From 18 March, the Balme Derby, the flagship freeskiing event, will bring together 150 ski enthusiasts who will give you a great view of the massif, both on skis and snowboard.
The month of March will continue not far from La Clusaz, in Le Grand-Bornand, with Glisse en Coeur, the charity event par excellence which will take place this year from 24 to 26 March. On the programme, 24 hours of skiing and concerts in aid of the Endowment Fund for Children and the association "To Each His Everest". Cerrone and The Avener will headline the solidarity concerts. On the catering side, star chefs Yoann Conte and Edouard Loubet will be honoured to be present at the charity dinner. See you there for 24 hours of skiing and fun!
The holiday weekend of 22 and 23 April promises to be full of outings and entertainment! Between the Défi Foly and the Foire Cantonale, you'll have to be in shape! 😉
During the Foire Cantonale, a day full of authenticity which takes place every 6 years, the best cows and the best Reblochons will be judged and rewarded.
The challenge of the Défi Foly is quite different. The objective of this challenge? To cross the Confins lake! It doesn't matter how or what you use as long as it is similar to skis or a snowboard. The current record is 155m since 2010, after taking off on a steep and snowy slope ❄️
Will you be in the heart of the village for the fair or rather on the side of the Confins lake for the Foly challenge? Having said that, we can only advise you to go to the Fair on Saturday and the Challenge on Sunday.
